If you need to surrender an animal, your animal will best be set up for success by emailing or calling the center directly to make an appointment. Or if you would prefer, you may visit the care center during open business hours as a walk in and fill out the application on site upon your arrival, but there may be a small wait time and the animal you select may not be ready to leave the same day. You do not need to have a specific animal in mind when filling out the application as you will meet all of our animals during the time of your visit. Making an appointment will help us provide the best quality client service experience for you.
If you are interested in adopting an animal, the easiest and most productive way to begin this quick process is to submit an online application for pre-approval by visiting the “Adopt” feature above this page, and then clicking “Applications.” A representative will then follow up with you to schedule an appointment. The team at Hi-Tor is doing everything possible to keep the population healthy and moving, but community support and cooperation means everything to our success.
